Congratulations to our Director of Interior Design, Amanda Gilliland! She was selected to help lead the South Dakota City Center of the IIDA Great Plains Chapter as the Director of Professional Development!
Amanda will work alongside Nikki Van Hill, an IIDA City Center Board Member, to plan all the professional development activities for the South Dakota City Center. These activities will include CEU’s, NCIDQ study groups, events in conjunction with AIA, and additional events that help IIDA members grow professionally.
South Dakota is celebrating it’s 1st year as an official city center in the IIDA Great Plains Chapter. It is their mission to elevate, advocate, and celebrate the profession of Interior Design in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
Amanda is a long-time IIDA member and has hit the ground running in her new role, “Our SD members are joining a large network of professionals and industry members that supports our careers and passion for design and continuing education. We’ve already started a great year of fabulous events CEU’s, NCIDQ support, student & professional mentorship, and furthering the education and importance of Interior Design in our state & region.”
